Nice authentic later autograph. £25 [ref: JG2] [N.B. Autographed photos of James Garner, particularly large 8 x 10 inches (20 x 25 cm) film-shots, were frequently signed by his late business manager, Jess Morgan, in black sharpie/marker pen, and not by Garner himself. Morgan's version of Garner's autograph is fairly convincing, but his capital "J" starts differently and is often larger and rounder. For a reliably authentic Garner autograph I always look for a later, mature photo and autograph, especially one with a personal message or dedication. Garner particularly liked signing in blue, silver or gold marker pen.] | |
